On Wednesday, September 18th, we welcomed a new group of young learners to our “Look at Me! I’m Three!” program. This program meets monthly, and is for children who will be of eligible age to participate in Pre-K for the following school year, along with their families. This year, an eligible child is one that turns three years old on or before December 1st, 2024.
The group meets from September to June, and over that time, students can make friends, build skills and form relationships with teachers and staff before formally entering the classroom for school the following year.
During the first meeting, children were introduced to mindfulness activities, they read “The Apple Thief”, made a mouse craft, sang songs, danced, and had a snack for a fun-filled evening!
