Some great family time was had by all during our October "Look at Me I'm Three!" meeting! Over twenty CCSD three-year-olds (or very soon-to-be three-year olds!) joined us for a great night of crafting, play-based-learning, and socializing. The group meets each month throughout the school year.
Stay tuned for details on our November meeting!
We will also be launching a new monthly early childhood program very shortly that is very similar to this one..... An announcement is coming tomorrow!

This week in art class with Miss Lis, 3rd graders brainstormed different images and symbols that mean something to them. Then, they created those sylmbols/images on large paper and added dots using bingo dabbers. These dots were inspired by artwork created by Yayoi Kusama. Great job!

This week in art class with Miss Lis, kindergarten finished up their spiders full of lines! Students learned the "Line Song," that teaches students what a horizontal, vertical and diagonal line look like. Great job kindergarten! You can find these spiders crawling in the hallways of McConnellsville!

Today, October 2nd, is National Custodian Day. Let's take a moment to recognize the hard work our dedicated facilities team does every day to ensure our students and staff have a clean and safe place to do their daily activities. Across the entire facilities team, they do nearly 70,000 combined hours of work annually to keep our buildings clean, our grass cut, and a variety of physical plant items in working order.
