It's that time of year again! Our annual K-12 art show will take place on May 15th! The Art Department is currently seeking donations of artwork from community members and former students for our art auction. The proceeds from the auction allow the department to award a graduating Senior who is heading into the art field with funds to purchase art supplies as they begin their college career. Please reach out to Amy Andrews if you have a piece of artwork that you would like to donate!

The Board of Education Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th will be held in the CHS Cafeteria. If attending, please park in the back (main) parking lot and use door "M". The start time for this regular meeting (7:00 PM) remains the same.

Connected Community Schools, The Camden Central School District, and the Center for Family Life and Recovery are teaming up to host a pair of internet safety seminars for parents. See the included image for details!

Agriculture students decided to stay after school to spend more time in the agriculture room learning. Students had 3 chicks not hatch this week so the students opened the eggs to see partially developed chicks!

High School Animal Science students learned about the Milk Quality FFA Career Development Event. Students learned helpful skills to identify various types of milk!

Animal Science students took time to educate each other regarding livestock nutrition disorders. Camdens agriculture program has remarkable students!

Grades 5 and 6 had an unforgettable experience attending a women’s world championship ice hockey game at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica today! Witnessing high-level competition and cheering on talented athletes was not only thrilling, but inspirational.

The future's so bright they gotta wear shades...... And it got dark for a few minutes yesterday, too. Mrs. Currie's 9th period class was excited to receive their solar glasses and a photo of totality!

April is Alcohol Awareness Month

The people are real. The cases are real. The rulings are final. Just ask Judge Judy, who was kind enough to take a break from the bench to join us at today's CMS Living Wax Museum.

We had some BIG TIME hockey players at the CMS Living Wax Museum! A miniature version of Team USA Alternate Captain Megan Keller was out and about, as was The Great One. They don't have to go far to find the talk show circuit, as Oprah was also close by!

On Thursday, April 4th, the Camden Middle School upper gymnasium transformed into a bustling gathering of celebrities, dignitaries, and historical figures… sort of. Sixth grade students were able to step into their shoes for a few hours as part of the annual Living Wax Museum event. The Living Wax Museum is a project that challenges students to learn more about a person that interests them through research. Students prepare a biographical poster presentation, and all the while, they prepare to play the role of their chosen figure. The project is a tremendous tool for helping students develop research and presentation skills they’ll need throughout middle school, high school, and beyond!

Please join us for an Eclipse art show reception at the Oneida Lake Arts and Heritage Center! It will be held on Saturday, April 6th from Noon until 5 PM! There will be student art displayed from grade levels K-12, and the display will remain intact from April 5th to 10th if you want to come see it at a different time!
